Week Twosome! (November 27-December 3, 2023)

The second week was a blur. We started it with going to the Rural Health Unit to acquire the needed secondary data on immunization. We then continued with our house-to-house surveys to achieve our target sample size of 250 households. Next activities were joined by the Manus dei Patriae batch wherein we participated on the 2-day event titled "Retooled Service Community Program" conducted at barangay Diwan, a far-fetched 30-minute ride from the center of municipality community where we had our medical checkups, role playing, and handwashing technique teaching to the Diwan Elementary School children where they welcomed us enthusiastically. On Friday, we were invited at the Paskuhan sa Mahayag conducted at the Municipal Plaza and some of our classmates showcased their dance intermission number. Activities like these are simple yet fruitful and overwhelming especially when the roots of it is focused on serving humanity and promoting their health and to strengthen our bond with the community and municipality at large.
