Part of the curriculum of Ateneo de Zamboanga - School of Medicine is to produce well rounded physicians who are trained in the community setting. Furthermore, student doctors are engaged in a community based education which aims to make them understand  the realities of health systems in the Zamboanga Peninsula and beyond. With this, the School of Medicine envisions a physician who is sensitive to the cultural, social, and political differences in the region. This will help them better understand the perspective of patients.

Thus, this blog is an open door to communicate the community to the world.
