The 2nd week's highlight was the "Mass BP Taking and Consultation" wherein the medical students realized succesfully a medical mission on their own and of course with the approval of the Municipal Health Officer of Mahayag, Dr. Wilson Lumapas. The Rural Health Unit handed out some medicines for the students to serve the varying complaints/concerns of the people.
The main purpose of this activity was to further track the diagnosed hypertensives and undiagnosed in order to come up with the Hypertensive Masterlist of the barangay.
The team couldn't be more proud of themselves as they smoothly finished their activity that targets their Community Health Plan on Hypertension which honestly they would not push through if it weren't for the help of the Barangay Council.
Slowly but surely, everyone is becoming a doctor day by day. The team is really making the dream work! Padayon!
